"Doc, she steals food!"

"Uh-huh. And what's her exercise regimen? Because she weighs almost 66 pounds!"

and that's when Lucy started laughing. Exercise? Does the slow walk around the fence perimeter count?

So, now she's allowed one cup (not an estimate, but an actual cup) of food in the morning and one at night. I have to start walking her again. I have been content to let her get her exercise in the backyard. Apparently, that's not going too well. Because the doctor just kept repeating "a 30% increase in weight".

That there's the news. Lucy is fat. Not just a tad chubby, but a seriously obese dog.
