Snow day! Snow day! Snow day! It snowed twice this week. First on Monday, light flurries. Then, Thursday was the "snowstorm!" News alerts. Worried calls. Closed schools.

This city loses its mind when it's going to be real cold, never mind if actual frozen precipitation falls. Thursday night, my yoga class was canceled. My mom called repeatedly to check on my welfare. My doppleganger aunt even emailed from Florida, to see if we were snowed in.

It didn't even snow at our house until 2am Friday morning. We woke up Friday to the blizzard of 2008.



Too bad it was all melted by 10am.
