having learned from my mistakes last year, this year is already ten times better! The turkey is about 30 minutes from done, and smells divine. I even used a meat thermometer, so we don't have the disappointing pink problem we had last year. We've also got:

cornbread bacon stuffing
whipped sweet potatoes, baked with balsamic vinegar and rosemary
smashed garlic potatoes, baked with grafton white cheddar
snap beans, simmered in sauvignon blanc

and pie! Pumpkin and apple. Seriously, I cannot wait to eat!
