All my co-workers/friends chipped in and got me an iPod. Not just any iPod. Oh, no! The red one. The one I have been eyeing every, single time I walk past the Apple store in Northpark. I sat down at the bar, and they all gathered around. And there, under some decoy tissues, in the bottom of one of our to go sacks, it lay, resting. My beautiful new iPod. I am not exaggerating when I say that I teared up. I am so touched by the gesture. I have already written my "thank you" cards. I had an awesome birthday weekend. Good friends, good presents, good times!
