I am dreading work tonight. People on the weekends are less interested in our food, and more interested in the merry-go-round ride that a rotating restaurant provides. Tonight, however, with panoramic views of the entire city (and the surrounding satellite cities on clear days) and fireworks set to go off at dark:30, it's going to get ugly. People in the first seating (5:30 - 7:00 pm) will be loathe to give up their seats on the ride. People with later reservations are going to to want nothing other than their damn tables. I hope that my managers are prepared to play bouncer tonight.

Also, if you've paid your tab and more than an hour elapses before you decide to vacate your seats, you're an asshole. That doesn't just apply to holidays, either. That's going to be our 4th rule: if you've paid your tab, finished your dessert and coffee and your water, and 60 minutes elapse and you're still just sitting there, you're an asshole.
